Dallas police said the delivery driver was kidnapped and robbed in Far North Dallas

Police said a woman serving pizza in Far North Dallas was kidnapped and robbed late on Saturday.

The 35-year-old woman, whose name has not been released, was driving back to her car About 10 p.m. after being delivered at an apartment complex on Bear Ridge Drive 5000 Road, near Dallas North Tollway and President George Bush Turnpike, when someone with a pistol approached her and demanded money.

Police said he ordered the woman to get into her car, and took the driver’s seat.

Police said he threatened and assaulted her while he was driving around Dallas for about an hour. He stopped at the ATM and ordered the woman to withdraw the cash. A police spokesman said he took about $ 400 from her.

The thief then headed to the West Dallas convenience store in Building 5500 of Bernal Drive, where the woman jumped out of the car and ran inside for help. Police call records show that several officers were dispatched to the site around 11:15 p.m.

Police said that while the store clerk called the police, the thief fled in the victim’s white Kia Sportage.

The investigators did not provide a detailed description of the thief or other information about him. A spokesman said on Sunday morning that he was still at large.
