Costa: “Daily allowances and meals will witness the conference” – Sports

The President of the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF), Fernando Costa, confirmed that the issue of allowances and allowances for national football leaders will be analyzed and decided at the entity’s extraordinary congress.

The president preferred not to present a personal position on the matter because he described it as “delicate”, considering that fans’ comments on the matter were critical and rejected.

“I have recommended that this matter be analyzed in Congress because it is a sensitive issue and I would prefer all members of the Fifa to make a decision in this regard,” he said on the ODMQF sports programme.

Similarly, the manager announced that he has spoken with several coaches from home and abroad to learn about plans to work with the national team, but “nothing has been decided yet”.

“There is no decision in this regard, we have spoken with local and foreign technicians. The profile of the new coach must be the winner and he can contribute to us, especially at the Hernando Celez stadium and add him as a visitor.”

In addition, he hopes to determine the budget that the FBF will have for the next four years and, in this way, appoint a new green technician.

Costa explained that for the 2026 World Cup (US, Mexico and Canada), South America will have 5.5 places to qualify for the event.

“We want to work with a coaching staff that will allow us to conduct scouts, in addition to absorbing local tournaments and making room for the work of the national team,” he said.
