After two consecutive weeks of rest, Clemson returns to the field on Saturday with something to prove. The Tigers are third in the College Football Playoff Rankings, and cannot stand a lackluster performance against Pittsburgh with Texas A&M finishing fifth and Florida also No. 6 on Saturday as the race rages on for the CFB position.
The 7-1 Tigers’ hands may be full of the Panthers who improved to 5-4 with a 47-14 win over Virginia Tech last week. If Clemson slipped up, the Aggies or the Gators might be ready to slip into the playoff photo. Texas A&M is seeking revenge for last year’s 50-7 loss to LSU, while No. 6 seed Florida looks to maintain its attack on Kentucky, who gave up 63 points against Alabama last week. Meanwhile, the Cincinnati seeded seventh should have no problem against Temple, but he will be looking to make an impression on the CFP by playing it on the field.
