The Olympic boxing program “Search for Champions”, organized by the Office of the Mayor of Panama, will have an international hiatus for the first time on November 3, a historic date for Panama due to the celebration of Panama’s separation from Colombia.
This program, an initiative of the Mayor of Panama Province, José Luis Fabrega, will host the international event in the province of Chileber, where there are already high expectations for the show, which will be hosted by the Community Council in the Presidency of Representative Yuira Beria.
Omar Martin, the organizer of the sports side, stated that the international hat will be against Canada, and for Panama, prominent personalities who have exited from the program implemented by the capital will participate.
“There will be 10 boxers from Canada who will come to compete against the program’s pioneers,” Martin explained, adding that the fights will begin at 2 p.m.
Martin added that since Panama celebrates national holidays on that day, there will also be other complementary activities such as introducing folk groups and other activities.
At the same time, in Bakura, another Olympic boxing function will take place.
One of the goals of the Olympic Boxing “Champions Quest” program is to contribute to the development of Olympic boxing in the province of Panama, and in the future you will be the next generation of professional.
The program in this sport began at the Pedro ‘El Rockero’ Alcázar de Curundú gym, but later also stopped in other areas of the metropolitan area such as Río Abajo, Betania, Calidonia, Chilibre and others.
