Beating 34 teams, and after a year of competition, three stages of elimination, including the eighth final among the CONCACAF greats, Canada qualified for Qatar 2022 and returned to the World Cup after 36 years. Mexico and the United States qualified directly for the World Cup under the leadership of John Herdman, and Costa Rica will play the play-off against New Zealand, occupying fourth place.

The leader fell
Panama ended its participation in the Octagon Final with a 1-0 victory over leaders Canada. The goal that gave the Canaleros their sixth victory in 14 matches was scored by Gabriel Torres in the 49th minute of the 14th and final day of the competition.
The Costa Rican team defeated the United States 2-0, but did not achieve its goal of achieving a direct quota for Qatar 2022 and is preparing for the play-off against New Zealand.
The Ticos team led by Colombian Luis Fernando Suarez reached 25 points, the same number achieved by the Americans led by Greg Berhalter, who finished third in the direct classification of the Qatar event due to the better goal difference.

Finally, it was a match of honor in which Jamaica scored 11 points, beating Catracos 2-1, to finish sixth and finish bottoming Honduras with only four units.
Honduran Angel Tejeda opened the scoring with a penalty in the 18th minute, but the Jamaicans scored through Leon Bailey in the 39th minute and Ravel Morrison in 45+2.
