Regarding the experience they had in the north of the continent, he explained that Abril Paz won the only fight he fought, while Amparo Murillo achieved both of his fights satisfactorily and Itzel Pichardo emerged victorious in one of the three fights he faced.
But beyond the results, Daniel Ferreira stressed that the important thing is that the women of Michoacán learned from a different boxing culture and that this will be a motivation for them to continue their careers which, at the moment, are amateur but with a view to being professional.
“And then it is difficult for athletes to have experiences outside the country because there are associations and nepotism that prevent them, but through Adelita it is specifically requested that more boxers be able to participate in events of this nature.”
