Air Senegal increases flights to the United States

Air Senegal is expanding its US offering by increasing its services between New York (JFK) and Baltimore (BWI) from two to three flights per week starting June 13.

The company, which recently entered into an agreement to operate the Airbus A220, has seen an increase in bookings during the summer season, to meet the demand made by this decision to add more operations.

Air Senegal will offer flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and the new frequency will be available until September 25.

Itinerary

  • Dakar – New York Flight HC407 DSS 02:00 – JFK 06:00
  • New York – Baltimore Flight HC407 JFK 09:00 – BWI 10:30
  • Baltimore – New York Flight HC408 BWI 20:30 – JFK 22:00
  • New York – Dakar Flight HC408 JFK 23:55 – DSS 12:15

Flights will be operated by an Airbus A330-900neo with a capacity of 290 seats (32 business class / 21 premium economy / 237 economy class). Passengers benefit from a baggage allowance of 46 kg (2 pieces).

Data obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium shows that Air Senegal will offer 52,556 seats per week in 408 flights from the network in Africa, Europe and the United States.

The Senegalese airline is currently competing with Delta Air Lines on the Dakar (DSS) – New York (JFK) route, with the US airline offering four weekly flights on the Boeing 767-300ER.
