Currently, Colombia and Canada are without continuous contact due to the suspension of Air Canada flights last February after restrictions on the movement of people imposed by Ottawa. The company operated the Colombian city from Montreal and Toronto in its Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
Montreal operations were canceled on February 13 after nearly a month of restart. For its part, Toronto has been in contact with Bogota since October 2020, and its last flight was on February 16.
Now, according to information obtained by Aviacionline through Cirium, the Air Canada flight intelligence platform will return to the Colombian capital on May 1. The Montreal and Toronto flights will be carried out in the 255-seat Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
