A young gymnast in the UK can die of laughter or grief from a rare health condition. Natasha Coates20, was diagnosed with a rare disease known as mast cell activation syndrome, a condition that prompted her to plan her funeral.

Natasha suffers from allergic reactions such as swelling, severe migraines and itching caused by strong emotions. According to the medical diagnosis, the young woman has some kind of extreme sensitivity to her emotions.
“I’m allergic to strong emotions”
And as if that weren’t enough, she’s also sensitive to the reactions her body generates as a result of her feelings, sweat if she’s too nervous, tears if she’s too nervous or sad, and even her laughter. Food can also be life threatening.
“I’m sensitive to strong emotions. Any change in my body, whether I’m laughing, crying, sad or stressed, can trigger a chemical reaction. It happens almost every day, and I’ve been to the hospital more than 500 times,” the young woman said.

Due to her illness, many people advised her to give up her passion for gymnastics, due to the feelings that competition generates, but she stressed that she would continue. “It gives me a lot more than it takes me. Allergic reactions will happen anyway even if I just sit at home doing nothing,” she added.
