Jennifer Pierce has been appointed Senior Vice President and President of TC Energía. She will replace Robert Jones, who left office on May 1.
“TC Energía has a long and proud history of building and operating natural gas pipelines in Mexico. I am proud and honored to lead our team in Mexico. Together with our clients and partners, we will continue to build on the foundation we have developed to continue to support Mexico’s social, economic, energy and environmental priorities, “the board said.
Pierce has held various executive positions before, including business development, business administration, asset marketing, human resources, communications and investor relations.
Additionally, his career in the power sector includes power generation, oil and gas, and power transmission.
He has worked in companies in this sector in Canada and the United States as well as Chile, Argentina and Brazil.
TC Energía supplies 25% of Mexico’s natural gas
TC Energía was the first private company to build and operate gas pipelines in Mexico.
It currently provides approximately 25% of Mexico’s natural gas through a network of 2,740 kilometers of natural gas pipelines, either in service or under construction.
