Former Vice President Joe Biden went on the attack against a reporter over the weekend when asked about his recent attack against a retired Marine.
Biden, who is currently running to become the Democrat nominee for President, was speaking with NPR reporter Rachel Martin when he lost his cool. Martin asked Biden if he felt his attack against Marine Merle Gorman, 83, was inappropriate.
Joe immediately began fighting back against the reporter, shouting, “Don’t compare me to Donald Trump.
When Martin questioned the “Civility” of Biden’s comments to Gorman, Biden fired back, “That’s not civil? To call someone who lied a liar?”
However, Biden did not stop there. He actually went on the attack against the retired Marine again despite him not being there to defend himself, “He’s lying! He’s lying. You acknowledge what he said wasn’t even true. None of the mainstream media believes any of that was true.”
Merle Gorman attended a recent event in Iowa as part of Joe Biden’s “No Malarky” tour. During the event, Gorman asked Joe why he used his son Hunter Biden in Ukraine to sell access to President Barack Obama between 2014 and 2016.
Hunter Biden had been given a $50k+ monthly salary job on the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings despite having no experience in energy or Ukraine. Hunter even admitted during an interview that the only reason he got the job was that his dad was Vice President at the time.
Instead of handling it calmly, Joe Biden challenged Merle Gorman to a pushup contest or a race to prove how healthy he is before seemingly calling the elderly Marine “fats”. Gorman had said Biden (77) was too old to be President.
Joe Biden is currently the Democrat frontrunner nationally but is trailing behind South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg in the Iowa polls.
