Tinashe And G-Eazy Drop Steamy Music Video For “So Much Better”

Tinashe has released her new video featuring G-Eazy

Singer, songwriter Tinashe has shared a music video for the G-Eazy-assisted track “so much better” video taken from her newest album Songs For You. The video was directed by Mynxii White and shows a stream Tinashe dressed in several sensual outfits and playing with a Dobermann. Watch the steamy video below.

Tinashe plays with a snake and sets roses on fire as she sets up the song for rapper G-Eazy to rap from his Ferari. Tinashe grew to online fame after self-releasing several online mixtapes that featured hazy experimental R&B. Her last mixtape featured Travis Scott before he got famous and got her signed to RCA Records

At 21 years old, Tinashe released her 2014 Aquarius that featured the top single “2 On” featuring Schoolboy Q. She was a breath of fresh air on the music scene and every song featured danceable groups.

RCA botched the release of her follow up Joyride and attempted to land more top-10 singles. The album was released in 2018 to almost no fanfare.

Now, she is riding high on the release of her new album.

She came out in September with one of her first posts in a long while, saying,

“I just feel like I needed to go through what I went through to be the person I am today,” she says, before going on to talk about how the process of putting out personal work subject to vicious criticism can be terrifying. But she squints and looks right into the camera. “But you know what? Fuck the system.”
