Downey Jr. is also expected to appear in another Disney+ series based on Ironheart, the comic and titular heroine who carries on the Iron Man legacy. Downey Jr will have a voice over role.
The streaming services appear to be taking over. Many big stars are appearing in their productions. For example, I recently watched Meryl Streep in the Netflix movie The Laundromat. Meryl Streep! She’s won three Academy Awards and has been nominated for twenty-one. Watch this unique discussion about streaming services:

While Downey Jr. is now one of the highest paid actors in the industry, he went through a very difficult time, filled with drugs, alcohol abuse and incarceration. His dad, Robert Downey Sr., allowed him to try marijuana at the age of six. After he finally got clean, Downey Jr. was uninsurable in the movie industry. But Marvel Studios took a chance on him in 2008 and during the next decade we got to see him in some great movies. Prior to that, Mel Gibson personally underwrote a liability policy for Downey Jr. so that he could star in the 2003 movie The Singing Detective.
Downey Jr.’s character Iron Man dies in Avengers: Endgame (hope that’s not a spoiler, but surely you’ve seen it by now) and fans were devastated, not knowing if he would ever be back. Well, he’s back…and all you gotta do is purchase yet another streaming service to see him.
