The Democrat debate featured a record-breaking amount of candidates onstage beating the Republicans – who had 11 candidates on stage in 2016.

One of the better moments of the debate was when Cooper questioned Biden about his son Hunter Biden.
“Look, my son’s statement speaks for itself,” Biden said. “My son did nothing wrong. I did nothing wrong. I carried out the policy of the United States government which was to root out corruption in Ukraine, and that’s what we should be focusing on.”
“These debates are kinda crazy.” Biden continued by saying that wealthy individuals might be found “clipping coupons in the stock market.”
Biden was top of the field for months and came under assault during the debate. Biden fought back against Anderson cooper who pressed Biden on his son Hunter’s involvement with a Burisma in Ukraine.
Biden pledged recently that members of his family would not engage in foreign deals if elected. Republicans called this is a tacit admission of wrongdoing.
Minutes before the debate Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that there would be no vote on formal impeachment of the President.
The candidates pledged allegiance to the flag at the beginning of the debate but there was no flags featured on stage.
